* Introduction :
Democracy is a form of government in which the rulers are elected by the people, one chief factor common to all democracies is that the government is chosen by the people, it also has student to government set between democratic & non-democratic governments,
example for a non-democratic government - south korea - where rulers are not elected by the people, those who were incharge of countries Army took over the rules & people had no say in this decision.
Democracy is derived from the Greek word "Demos", meaning people, and "Kratos" meaning power, Rules. Democracy Thus means the rules of Demos (demos referring to the people although Greek originally used to mean the poor or many.

* Importance of Democracy/Means by Democracy :
1) a system of Rule By the poor & Disadvantager,
2) a form of Government in Which The People rule themself directly & without the need for professional political & public officials,
3) the society is based on equal opportunity & individual metrics rather than hierarchy & privilege,
4) a system of decision-making based on the principle of majority rule,
5) a system of welfare & redistribution aimed narrow social inequality
6) a system of rule that Secure the right & interests of minorities by placing checks upon the power of minorities,
7) means of feeling public offices through a competitive struggle for the popular vote,
8) a system of government that serve the interests of people regardless of their participation in political life,
9) to treat everyone equally in the political social & economic peace without discrimination of cast, religion, profession, birthplace etc,
10) effort were made in democracy to establish social justice by establishing political & economic equality,

Rulers are the people or groups who have the authority and power to make decisions and govern a country or region. They set rules and make important choices for the Society.
-> What Kind of Election Constitute a Democratic election?
In a democratic election, every eligible citizen has the right to vote for their preferred candidates. This includes a fair and open process where people can freely choose their leader through voting.
-> Who are the People who can elect the rulers or get elected as rulers?
The people who can elect rulers are citizens of the country who meet the eligibility criteria, such as age and citizenship. similarly, those who can be elected as rulers are individuals who meet the requirement and run for public office.
-> What form government as a democracy?
A democracy is a form of government where the power is vested in the hand of the people. Citizens participate in decision-making through voting, and leaders are chosen through regular elections.It aims to represent the interests of the majority while respecting individual rights.

In a Democracy, the final decision-making power must rest with those elected by the people,

“One person, One vote, and One value” means that in a fair and democratic system, an eligible individual has the right to cast a single vote, and each vote holds the same importance or value. This principle ensures that each person’s voice is heard equally, regardless of their social status, wealth, or other factor.
